Packages & Options
Standard 8 Sets
Our standard plan package includes 8 copies of your plan printed on regular bond paper and bound at the side. The purchaser of the plan will also be provided with a non-exclusive, non-transferable license and permission to make up to 25 copies of the plan to construct one home using these plans. Extra sets may be purchased through AVID up to 90 days following original purchase. Any modification or reuse of this plan is prohibited and is in direct violation of copyright law.
AVID is happy to modify any plan to suit your needs and offers guaranteed, quick turnaround on all revision work. If you would like a FREE quote for revision work prior to purchasing a plan, simply:

Plan pricing varies and is generally based on the total square footage and complexity of the design. Reuse and multi-use rights may be purchased for any plan package.
1 Reproducible Vellum Plan Set
As a convenience to our customers, AVID offers plans on high-quality reproducible vellum paper. Reproducible Vellum plans are slightly more expensive than the standard 8 Plan Set, but they allow designers, architects and engineers to easily make simple modifications to the original plan. The purchaser of the plan will be provided with a non-exclusive, non-transferable license and permission to make up to 25 copies of the (modified) plan to construct one home using these plans. All designs resulting from the modification of the original plan remain the property of A Vision in Design, LLC (AVID). Reuse and multi-use rights may be purchased for any plan package.
CAD Files
When available, digital CAD (computer-aided design) files may be purchased for use in the modification of a design. CAD files are more expensive than other plan sets, but these electronic files allows for quick and easy modification of a plan (by an architect or other qualified professional) without a total redraw. Not all plans offered for sale by AVID have CAD files available for purchase. CAD files will be delivered on a CD or by e-mail and may be used to produce up to 25 sets of the plan. The purchaser of the files will be provided with a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to construct one home using these plans. All designs resulting from the modification of the original plan remain the property of A Vision in Design, LLC (AVID). Reuse and multi-use rights may be purchased for any plan package.
Reuse Fee
The Reuse Fee licenses the purchaser of a plan set to use those plans for the construction of one additional home. Payment of a Reuse Fee is also required for reuse of any plan resulting from the modification of an original AVID plan. Extra Sets
Extra Sets of any plan may be purchased from AVID. Extra sets must be purchased within 90 days of the original plan purchase. Extra Sets are printed on regular bond paper and bound at the side. Once purchased, Extra Sets will be shipped to you using the most economical method unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Reverse Sets
Reverse Sets of plans are a mirror image of the original. All plans purchased from AVID will be shipped oriented as they appear on this web site. If you wish to order a set of plans "flipped" or "reversed" from the way they appear on this site, you will want to purchase a Reverse Set. Please note: All text and dimensions on a Reverse Set will appear backwards or as if they were viewed in a mirror.
Right Read Reverse Sets
Right Read Reverse Sets of plans are a mirror image of the original. With “Right Read” Reverse Sets (unlike standard Reverse sets), the text and dimensions are modified to read correctly. All plans purchased from AVID will be shipped oriented as they appear on this web site. If you wish to order a set of plans "flipped" or "reversed" from the way they appear on this site -- with the text and dimensions properly oriented and reading correctly -- you will want to purchase a Right Read Reverse Set.
Art Work
When available, AVID offers high resolution color renderings printed on high quality 8-1/2" X 11" paper. These images can be very helpful for builders and their realtors in the marketing of their homes. All printed Art Work is copyrighted material and may not be reproduced. Additional printed copies may be purchased by contacting your local AVID Market Manager or calling A Vision In Design at 1.888.280.AVID (2843).
Digital Art Work
When available, AVID offers high resolution Digital Art Work. These images can be very helpful for builders and their realtors in the marketing of their homes. All Digital Art Work is copyrighted material and may not be reproduced for any project other than the one for which a corresponding plan was purchased. Digital Art Work will be delivered on CD or sent by e-mail.
Framing Material Take-off
On select plans, AVID offers Framing Material Take-offs (a list of framing materials needed to construct the home). Framing Material Take-offs can be very helpful when acquiring material bids and estimating job costs. Framing Material Take-offs are only available with plan purchase and will be delivered by CD, E-mail, or printed insert.
