Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy for our website portal (the "Site") was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the highest-quality products and services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our customers and partners.  The Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Site and our products and services.  This statement will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our customers' needs.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

When you visit our Site you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and Site use information collected as you browse our Site.

1. Personal Information
   
   We will not collect any personally-identifiable personal information about you (e.g., your name, address, telephone number or email address) through the Site unless you have provided it to us voluntarily.
   
   When you do provide us with personal information, we may use that information in the following ways, unless stated otherwise: we may use that information to deliver product to you and bill you for our services; we may store and process that information to better understand your needs and how we can improve and enhance our products and services; and/or we may use that information to contact you.
   
   
2. Web Site Use Information

With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

  Information Security.  You understand and agree that "perfect" security does not exist anywhere, including the Internet.  Notwithstanding this fact, we use encryption/security software in our efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of the information we display and collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.  You information is kept on servers that are located behind a firewall.
  
  Evaluation of Information Protection Practices.  Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information.

What About Other Web Sites Linked to Our Web Site?

We are not responsible for the practices employed by web sites linked to or from our Site nor the information or content contained therein.  Please remember that when you use a link to go from our web site to another web site, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect.  Your browsing and interaction on any other web site, including web sites that have a link on our web site, is subject to that web site's own rules and policies.  Please read over those rules and policies before proceeding.

How Can You Change Your Information?

To view, edit or remove personal information you submitted on the Site during registration, the purchase of a product or service, or elsewhere you may:

• Consumers:  Follow the instructions found in the "My Account" area of the Site where you registered or submitted the personal information.  If you would like us to no longer use your personal information, please e-mail  CustomerService@AvidHomeStudios.com  with your request.
• Professionals:   Professionals may edit their information by returning to the area of the Site where they registered and modifying the information there or by calling Customer Service at 888-280-AVID (2843). By contacting us to make such changes, you expressly authorize us to access your data for purposes of completing your requested edits, modifications and/or deletions.  

How Do I "Unsubscribe"?

You also have the ability to terminate e-mail correspondence from us at any time.   To opt-out or request that we not use your personal information to send you newsletters or other marketing materials (brochures, discount coupons or special promotional offers), email CustomerService@AvidHomeStudios.com with your request.

How Am I Notified of Material Changes to This Policy?

If we make material changes to our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our web site to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it.
